Title:

Design a Robotic Mechanism - Component of Low and Non-pollution Manufacturing Systems - Decoupling Movement of a Robotic Mechanism with Three Degrees of Freedom, using Couplings and Wires Transmission

Authors:

Nicolae Bercan, Mihaiela Iliescu and Cristian Matran

Abstract: The growing presence of industrial robots in low and non-pollution manufacturing systems requires the development of a database. This paper presents a form of robotic mechanism with three degrees of freedom, driven by wires and pulley wheels. It is necessary to present this type of mechanisms, because the literature data in the field of robotic mechanisms operated through wires are, relatively, poor. It is presented a structural and kinematic analysis of a robotic mechanism guidance, establishing equations of motion (e.g. for speeds, moments).

Electric-Motion in Romania - Overview - Study on Machining Parameters of EV Charging Station Mechanical Components

Authors:

Mihaiela Iliescu, Nicolae Bercan and Alexandru Rogojinaru

Abstract: This paper presents some relevant aspects of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Romania. It evidences the charging station and fast charging stations designed and installed by the first Romanian company dedicated 100% to e-mobility, E-Motion Electric. Also, a study on machining (milling) parameters of some mechanical components of electric vehicle (EV) charging station is done and, finally, the regression model for these parameters is determined. This model would be further used for machining process optimization.

Title:

Modelling and Simulation of the Temperature Control System in the Heating Installations from Nonresidential Buildings

Authors:

Daniel Popescu and Ioan Borza

Abstract: The article addresses specific issues of the automated heating systems for non-residential buildings, which aim to ensure thermal comfort with low energy consumption. The specialized automatic system maintains constant the indoor temperature when the heat input in building equals the heat loss through the building envelope. The specialized automatic system consists of several subsystems. The model for each subsystem is obtained considering the particularities of the heating processes from buildings and requirements for the thermal comfort. By simulating the operation of the specialized automatic system is obtained the time behavior for the main physical values that characterizes the system, relevant to the quality of the heating temperature control in the building. The operation of the automatic controller and the control valve are analyzed by simulation, in a comparable time interval with transient regime of the automatic heating system of the real building. The validation of the model is done by comparing the results obtained by simulation with results of experimental measurements in the real automatic system, implemented in the building chosen for study.

Title:

Ensuring the Comfort in the Heated Space by Controlling the Temperature in the Heating Installation of a Non-residential Building

Authors:

Daniel Popescu and Ioan Borza

Abstract: In this article is modeled, with the help of Simulink, the automatic system that controls the thermal agent temperature in a non-residential building chosen for study. It describes how the model has been drawn for the subsystem entitled HEATED SPACE in the building. There were used mathematical relationships which show how the indoor temperature is changing, depending on the heat input in building and the heat loss through building envelope. The other subsystems have been modeled in the articles specified in the bibliography. By simulation of the model for the automatic system is determinated his behavior during two days in the winter season. The evaluation of the thermal comfort in the heated space from the building, ensured by using the automatic system, is made by analyzing the graphs of the significant temperatures from the modeled system: indoor temperature, outdoor temperature and thermal agent temperature in the heating installation. At the end of the article are shown the main causes of low thermal comfort in the building, and also the reasons why this type of automatic system is preferred in many non-residential buildings.

Internet of Things for Flexible Manufacturing Systems` Diagnosis

Authors:

Calin Ciufudean and Corneliu Buzduga

Abstract: This paper deals with an actual topic concerning the diagnosis of Internet of Things (IoT) controlled flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). We focus on models realized with Markov chains of FMS with stochastic and not equal throughput rates. Discrete-event models assume that FMS is decomposed, and we study the following events: an Internet server fails, an Internet server is repaired, an Internet server memory buffer fills up, an Internet server memory buffer empties. The IoT diagnosis is performed with by calculating the time to absorption in Markov model of the IoT controlled FMS. Future development of IoT diagnosis of FMS are also discussed in this work.
