SMARTGREENS is a unique forum for universities, research groups and research projects to present their research and scientific results, be it by presenting a paper, hosting a tutorial or instructional course or demonstrating its research products in demo sessions, by contributing towards panels and discussions in the event's field of interest or by presenting their project, be it by setting up an exhibition booth, by being profiled in the event's web presence or printed materials or by suggesting keynote speakers or specific thematic sessions.

Special conditions are also available for Research Projects which wish to hold meetings at INSTICC events.

M2DC Project

The H2020 project M2DC (Modular Microserver Data Center) is developing turnkey appliances based on a heterogeneous microserver system enabling to build use-case driven, modular, high-density data centres. For this purpose the consortium of 14 partners works on three layers: Hardware, Middleware and Application. Our goal is to develop a new class of low-power TCO-optimised appliances with built-in efficiency and dependability enhancements, easy to integrate with a broad ecosystem of management software and fully software-defined to enable optimisation for a variety of future demanding applications in a cost-effective way.

OFFIS

The Oldenburger OFFIS - Institut für Informatik (OFFIS - Institute for Information Technology) is a research institute located in the city of Oldenburg, Germany. The institute was founded on July 6, 1991 and works closely together with the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. OFFIS is an application-oriented research and development institute and a centre of excellence for selected areas of information technology and its fields of application. The institute is divided in three research divisions Energy, Health and Transportation.
